When we first moved into our home, I wanted to give it a name. This new beginning of home ownership in life needed a name. Our house is at the top of a ridge, tucked next the edge of the Pisgah Forest of Western NC. The brick house doesn’t quite look like a cottage, but the warmth and airiness of a cottage are definitely present in and around our home. So, The Garnett Cottage was born.

Since moving into our home in 2016, we have grown as many people do. We have started new jobs, adopted two wonderful pets, learned a lot about home ownership, done a little remodeling and much more. We have grown a lot as individuals and in our relationship. I look forward to many more years with The Garnett Cottage.
